The G series of LG is what made it a big competitor in the Smartphone market. LG G2 was the first phone from LG that was very appreciated by smartphone lovers because it was different from other phones in a lot of ways. The volume keys and lock button were given on the back of the phone which many people felt more comfortable than conventional button placement. After that, LG just took feedback from its customers and made advancements in the same design and concept in LG G3 & LG G4. We gave LG G3, the title of “Best phone” in 2014 and LG G4 was just a better version of LG G3.
But now, LG is coming with its new flagship device LG G5, which is much different than any phone you have ever seen. With this phone, LG is introducing the modular design in the smartphone market. This can actually be the future of smartphones as it offers a lot of accessories that can be used with the phone which can increase the usability of the phone. But, now you will not find any buttons on the back side of the phone as the company says that they wanted to make the phone slimmer and hence decided to give buttons at more conventional places. LG G5 Overview: Other Information
The Modular Design of the phone means that you can remove the bottom of the phone along with the battery and can insert another specially designed module in its place which will transform the phone into a specialized device. For example, there is a special module available which turns your phone into a digital camera with buttons to capture audio & video and Scroll to zoom.
The innovation is also given in the rear camera, where you can see the two cameras which work just like the human eye. This helps the phone to have a wide frame and better zoom out capability. So, when you are taking a picture and you want to include more of background in your frame, then you don’t need to step back to do that. You can just zoom out and the phone will do the work for you.
Another thing worth mentioning is the Always ON display which will give you quick information like time, date & battery level every time you look at the phone. The Finger Print Sensor is given at the back and speaker is given at the bottom of the phone. USB port is a Type-C USB port in which you can insert the jack from both sides as we have seen in iPhones.
The Phone will be available in the market by April 2016 and the company have not disclosed the price of the phone yet.
